About
A lifelong passion for Art and History has led VIX to the world of artisan jewellery design. Making each piece by hand gives each item a unique, sculptural quality. Her signature animal pendants and bangles, for example, are hand-carved in wax and cast as one-offs. If similar items are called for, then those, too, will be unique, because the process will be repeated from scratch. Thus, each piece is guaranteed unique. The variety of chains she uses in her necklace, bracelets and earrings are wrapped, folded, formed and soldered by hand as well.
My goal is to create jewellery that you want to wear every day, not just on special occasions. I am influenced by fashion, but I want to create pieces that stand the test of time – heirlooms of the future.
